Directions

Sauté a little garlic in olive oil , add the sliced fennel bulbs, and a small amount of stock, either chicken or vegetable, turn down to a simmer and cook till crisp tender, about 5-10 min, the stock is to boil away completely so don't overdo it.

Season with salt pepper. Also a sprinkle of nutmeg may be nice.
